Dr. Rochanda Mitchell is a second year Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fisk University, Master of Science from Case Western Reserve University, and Doctor of OsteopathicMedicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed obstetrics and gynecology residency at Howard University Hospital.  She is currently a fellow in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the University of Virginia and the current recipient of the Peyton T. Taylor Scholarship, which funds research in the field of women’s health. Her genuine interests in nutrition, obstetrics, and health disparities have fueled her current interest in diabetes, obesity, and pregnancy.
